career change

Staring at the ceiling I rolled over to grab my phone. Sh.. It’s 5:30am and I don’t know why I’m up? Oh yeah.. that’s right. I don’t have a job to get ready for anymore.. (goes back to bed). Kidding.. I usually am up by this time every morning. If you know me, you know I’m usually up before the sun getting ready for my morning runs. I usually never sleep in late, so it’s hard to imagine I would start even if I just left my job. People usually drink coffee to wake them up, I work out. Working out has always been part of my routine no matter what i’m going through because it allows me to release stress before going into the day.

After getting back in from my run I check my calendar and realize just how much “free” time i’m going to have for the rest of the month. Before I did anything else, I began deleting my work meetings from my calendar that I would no longer be attending. Thinking for a moment, I decided it will be best to keep the routine of working long hours on launching a few of my personal projects before the end of the year. I mean didn’t someone once say entrepreneurs are the only people who work 80 hour weeks to avoid working 40 hour weeks.

(This may not be as true in my case because I was already working way more than 40 hours a week. This post will be short. Getting ready to open my laptop and work on
